Workers' Compensation Alternative Dispute Resolution

The Southern California Laborers have implemented a program to help contain the costs of Workers' Compensation while assuring that insured workers obtain quality care and are returned to useful employment with a minimum of delay.

Ombudsman Facilitator
The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program utilizes the services of an "Ombudsman" as prescribed by state law to facilitate the operation of the program.  This minimizes litigation and reduces workers' compensation costs.

A signatory employer large enough may enter this program on its own or may enter the program through "safety groups" established by the Southern California Laborers.

Working with the contractor's in-place Workmen's Compensation carrier, the program can also offer managed care programs.
